Interested in newborn shoot?
Okay, I know all this is a lot to take in but I'm here to make it super easy for you!
You can book as early as you feel comfortable. Most moms book at around the 12-week mark. I send you the contract and invoice. You pay the 50% deposit and when baby comes you shoot me an email within 24 hours of birth. That is when I get you an actual session date. I like to shoot posed newborns within the first 16 days of life so we get the squishiest, sleepiest poses.
Most sessions are shot in my studio in Monkton, baltimore county but If you are having a hard recovery I can pack the studio up and come to you! For those coming to the studio, it is located on the first floor and has a huge reclining couch so you can relax while I work.
I have all props and outfits for baby so you don't need to worry about buying anything (unless you want to, of course!) You tell me what colors you love, colors that are your hard no, the vibe you are going for and I do the rest! During our session you are totally welcome to take cell phone pics to send to grandparents, aunts, and uncles, I 100% love when parents swoon over baby while I work; it melts my heart.
It usually takes three weeks (I know, it feels like an eternity) for me to send your pics to you. I email you a link that you can share with your family and you all can download the images; yep there is no limit on that!!! THey are all sized for print and I include the print rights with all galleries.

you can book your newborn session as early as you know you are pregnant. I mark down your due date but when baby comes you let me know within 24 hours of birth and I get you on the schedule. These squishy poses you see are usually shot within the first 16 days of life.
I have so many props, outfits, wraps and bonnets that it is not necessary for you to bring anything but if there is something special you want incorporated then feel free to let me know!
When it comes to your session date there is no need to worry that "your baby won't cooperate"; I hear that a lot and I do have a few tricks to use but here are some things that you can do on your end to prep for a great session:
01.
Bring extra milk
Bring enough milk for 2-3 feedings. If nursing try to stay away from dairy & spicy food 48 hours before our session.
02.
Bring a Pacifier
Some poses are tricky and to help soothe baby into them I may need to use a pacifier to get that must have shot!
03.
Bring A brush
If baby has lots of hair you may want to bring a brush to retouch any hat head that may happen between bonnet poses.
04.
Bring a baby blanket
Some of the poses are without a diaper; bring an extra blanket in case we have an accident
